# Brand vocabulary

> Improve transcription by saving names, brands, acronyms, and uncommon terms that VoiceCheap should recognize more reliably.

# Brand vocabulary

Brand vocabulary helps the transcription stage recognize names, brands, acronyms, and uncommon words more reliably.

It is not a project-by-project translation rule. It is a saved customization that improves transcription quality whenever those terms appear in supported workflows.

## What it is good for

* company names
* people names
* product names
* acronyms
* uncommon industry terms

## How to format it

* separate entries with commas
* keep entries concise
* use one term or a short phrase per entry
* stay under the current maximum of 100 entries

Example:

`VoiceCheap, Raycast, voicecheap.ai, chat-gpt, Claude, Anthropic, Dubbing, timestamps, Firecrawl, Claude 4 Opus, OpenAI, Cursor`

## What it does not do

Brand vocabulary does not tell VoiceCheap how to translate a term. It only helps the transcription layer recognize the source term more accurately.
