POST
Poll transcription, translation and lip-sync progress and retrieve completed output URLs.

Authentication and permissions

string
required
Send a VoiceCheap API key in this header. Authorization: Bearer with the same API key is also supported. OAuth access tokens are accepted only by MCP, not by this REST endpoint.
Required permissions: projects:read. An active paid subscription is required. Permissions do not change team roles, resource ownership, media credits, or plan limits.

Parameters

string
required
Text value.Minimum length: 1. Maximum length: 200. Pattern: ^[^/\\]+$.
The JSON Schema below preserves the exact field names, nested types, defaults, bounds, and accepted values exposed by discovery. Additional cross-field rules are listed in the operation notes.

Request examples

Replace example resource identifiers and media keys with values returned for your account. Keep the request identifier stable when retrying the same mutation.

Response

A successful first execution returns HTTP 200 with the operation result under data. A replay may return saved request state instead. The example shows one supported response, not every optional field. Returns processing progress and completed output URLs without embedded transcripts.

Result fields

Operation notes

  • Use this action to poll projects_create, translations_create, translations_start, translations_dub, and lipsync_create. Fetch transcripts separately with transcripts_get.
  • This authenticated, rate-limited status read does not spend the monthly action-call allowance.
  • For translations it follows the most recently created language work and its last version. For full multi-language state, read projects_get or translations_list.
  • A transcription-only project succeeds when transcription finishes. A completed dubbed output can remain processing while lip sync is active, or failed if its latest lip sync failed.
  • The handler always removes transcripts from the underlying status result. It has no dynamic-subtitle completion fields; poll projects_get for those.
  • Stored failures return VoiceCheap error codes and fixed messages. Use the code and current resource state to decide how to recover.

Usage

This status or usage control does not consume the monthly API/MCP call allowance. Authentication, paid access, ownership, and rate limits still apply.
