How to use it

Upload a video to generate a separate SRT subtitle file for your Premiere Pro project. This workflow is useful when you want captions as an editable file that can travel alongside the video.

Use the right video export

Upload a video that matches the sequence you plan to caption. A different introduction, trim, or playback speed can make otherwise correct subtitle times drift.

Generate and inspect the SRT

Download the subtitle file and review names, specialist terms, and sentence breaks. Automated transcription may need corrections, especially where speech overlaps or audio is unclear.

Import into Premiere Pro

Choose File > Import and select the SRT. Drag the imported file onto your sequence to create a subtitle track, then review its timing and appearance in Premiere.
