Distinguish a transcript from an edited article

Conversation often includes unfinished sentences, repetition, and interruptions. Decide whether your published transcript preserves those details or is lightly edited for readability. Do not silently rewrite a speaker's meaning, and verify quotations against the recording before publication.

Build a small review checklist

Before uploading, note the episode title, guest names, and likely specialist terms. After transcription, check those items first, then sample passages throughout the recording. A polished opening does not establish the accuracy of quieter or more crowded sections later on.
